Basement Progress

Here are the basement items Basment progression: Color Scheme:   Riser for seats: Wall Fixtures: Mini Sconces for over the bar.

Bathroom ideas

Thanks for the opinions I got on the colors.  We're doing Stone House in the Kitchen, Alaskan Skies in the Family Room, and the Blue in the dining room.  I want to do something bold in the powder room, so I started looking (again) for some inspiration pics. I found some dark bathrooms (1st is from bossycolorblog it's BM Graphite) Keeping with a dark powder room, with a bow, it makes your day feel fancier.   I might just go a tad lighter with Revere Pewter, people rave about this color online and I think it'll give the warmth and clean lines I want, with a little less drama than the graphite.  I will definitely do the graphite in the basement bathroom once we build our movie theater, but I am going to go a little safer right now.

powder room

We NEED help determining the color of the powder room.  It is off the main hallway which will be painted a dark brown called driftwood: These are the other first floor colors that I will choose from. Please vote! stone house newburyport blue windham cream alaskan skies

dining room

Red or Blue? We have a formal dining room that has a chair rail and moldings, tray ceiling and wainscoting.  The big debate now is whether to go with a deep red dining room or a dark blue one.  I originally had my heart set on a red one and then I saw some pictures and fell in love with a deep blue!    So we're going to go with newburyport blue from Benjamin Moore HC-155.    Pic1: courtesy of decorati access                                                 Pic 2: courtesy of country living  The same blue is going into the office after we saw this pic     Pic3:courtesy of Van H.
