You want floors? We got floors!

Things are progressing very smoothly with the house.  Fast enough to make us nervous about selling the current one on time.  We now have walls that are sheetrocked and taped, doors that are locked, and a cement floor in the garage.  AND we are having the wood floors put in this week!

Mike and his dad flew over the house and  got clearance to fly down lower and took pictures of the house from the sky!  So cool!  We could see Pinewood Lake and how it was a little frozen  in the middle, we could almost see Hidden Pond (it is hidden, after all!).

I turned 41 at the beginning of the year am at the stage in my life that I'm having some "midlife" awakenings, wherein I am coming to the realization of my mortality and the precious nature of life. I may write more about this in a future post, but for now, I am trying to find some ways to expand my world yet still manage my day to day. My life is goes from work-home-bed and I, as many of us do, don't set time aside to slow down and take time for myself.  I want to revisit some things I have done over the past 40 years and try to include the things that I think will help me recenter myself, making me more focu
